Online Series: THE QUEEN WITHIN: A personal exploration of the archetype of the Queen through body part mapping and self-portrait drawing ~ with Elisabeth Osgood-Campbell

5 Thursdays, July 1 – 29, 4:00-5:30PM, Pacific Daylight Time

The archetype of the Queen represents a woman who governs herself and others with maturity, wisdom, dignity and grace. An aspect of the divine feminine, she is a sovereign, or powerful leader, who works for the well-being of her community. In turn, the Queen is deeply respected and beloved by her community.

Through movement/dance, drawing, and creative writing, we will explore the creative centers of the hands, heart, hara (gut) and head, and hear what queenly knowing they have to share about leading yourself and others more artfully. The series will culminate with a self-portrait drawing of your inner Queen. Sharing in pairs and trios helps to build a sense of community among participants; we celebrate the women we are becoming individually and as a group.

To get the most out of this online class, please prepare a comfortable space to move in with access to your online device and a stable internet connection. Please have art supplies ready at hand for drawing activities, and paper and pen for journaling and creative writing exercises.
