The Halprin Life-Art process invites us to enter into the healing space of being witnessed and witnessing each other. As we enter into a creative dialogue with our body movement and other artefacts of our self expression such as drawings and poetic writing, each medium can speak to us, open us to what is present in our lives and offer us new metaphors for what is possible.

Spring into Summer: THE INNER MARRIAGE
With Maria Luisa Diaz de Leon in Berkeley, CA
"Masculinity without femininity kills...femininity without masculinity devours"
- Marion Woodman
What kind of union do you want to cultivate between the masculine and feminine parts of yourself?
The intention of this workshop is to foster a creative internal dialogue on this topic, through the methods and tools of the Life/Art Process: movement, drawing and creative writing. The sessions will culminate in an intimate ritual/ceremony in which each participant will creatively identify and express the vows of commitment to keep their "inner marriage" alive.
The workshop is for people of any marital status who are interested in moving towards a more integrated, loving and self-responsible life. As self-awareness and self-responsibility are heightened, participants will be able to engage in relationships with significant others in a more mature way. They will also be able to continue and support their inner marriage using the tools and methods practiced during the process.
Participants with all levels of experience are welcome!
