Taira Restar, MA
Taira Restar is a movement artist and arts educator with a BA in Visual Arts and a MA in Movement Education. She is a graduate of Tamalpa trainings and has studied this work since 1983. Taira is on faculty at the Tamalpa Institute and has led classes, workshops and community events throughout California, including San Francisco State University, Hancock College, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA), Oakland Museum, and Esalen Institute. She also teaches and performs with her mentor, Anna Halprin.
