Every day in every setting - business, education, health care or government - people are leading and being led. At this time in our history “good” leadership and facilitation are not nearly enough.
Daily, we see countless examples: consensus building with no consensus reached; failed attempts of bridging the gaps between diverse visions and goals; and simply wasted talent lost through outdated approaches to management and leadership.
CREATIVE FACILITATION provides pragmatic yet creative models for turning a passion for leadership into a practice of GREAT and masterful facilitation.
Being a masterful and creative facilitator means tapping deeply into your creativity, your senses, your embodiment and your intuition.
You will learn to utilize:
Character Typography™ – somatic assessment
5-Part Process™ – creative problem solving
RSVP Scoring Cycle™– planning-in-action
You will gain the following skills:
1. Assess body postures and how they shape expression
2. Witness your own body’s responses in order to see, hear, feel and facilitate another’s experience
3. Read body posture & facial tone, moment by moment, to establish character typography within a group
4. Navigate a destructive trigger – read it, reign it in, resolve it
CREATIVE FACILITATION™answers your questions concerning personalities, reactivity in groups and inclusion vs. exclusion. It makes the most of brainstorming and idea-gathering. It makes use of conflict and resistance. It makes diversity of thought and expression the vehicle toward a common goal.
